The 2009 Entry Process

Due to the cancellation of the 2008 event, we will not be accepting any new applicants to the 2009 Western States Endurance Run. Only those runners on the Official 2008 Start List are offered automatic entry into the 2009 Run. Any remaining slots will be filled from the list of current "two-time losers" (TTL's). Note that 2008 entrants do not have to run a qualifier, but TTL's must do so.

2010 Entry Process

The 2010 WS application period will open on October 1, 2009, and close on October 15, 2009. Applications will be taken online (only) at Active.com.

The 2010 WS Lottery will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the cafeteria at Placer High School in Auburn, CA. The drawing will begin at 9 am Pacific Time. Results will be posted to this website as the drawing proceeds.

The 2010 WS qualifying period will run from October 1, 2008 to November 10, 2009.
